Child and Family Poverty in Saskatchewan 2016 - Social Policy Research Centre, Faculty of Social Work, University of Regina.  Paul Gringrich, Garson Hunter, Miguel Sanchez.  "160,000 persons in Saskatchewan were in poverty in 2014.  This was 14.8 per cent of the 1,086,000 persons living in the province - a poverty rate above the 14.4 per cent for Canada as a whole....".
